About

An imprint built around attention.

One Reality Editions publishes contemplative non-fiction for readers who want to think carefully about who they are and how they live.

The imprint

Small by intention.

The name comes from the central insight of Advaita Vedanta: beneath the variety of experience, reality is not divided in the way it first appears.

The books are written so that a reader with no background in Indian philosophy can follow the inquiry without the tradition being reduced to slogans. The list remains deliberately small so each title can receive patient writing, editing and production.

The series

A progression without a syllabus.

The four-book inquiry moves from recognition to precision, practice and fulfillment. Each volume is complete enough to stand alone, but together they allow the same central question to deepen.

I

A Return Without Departure

II

Freedom Without Escape

III

A Path Without Distance

IV

Fulfillment Without Attainment

The author

Kalpnesh Gupta

The books grow out of sustained study of Vedanta and an attempt to present its inquiry in contemporary, non-academic prose. The aim is not to create a simplified substitute for the tradition, but to make the first steps into it clear enough that a thoughtful reader can actually take them.

The mark

Two forms. One circle.

The symbol is built from two distinct forms that meet inside a single whole. It carries the imprint’s central visual idea without turning the logo into an illustration.
